Soroptimist programs focus on providing women and girls with access to education, which is one of the most effective ways to end social problems disproportionately affecting women and girls.

Desert Coast Region has a new District III Director!
At the District III Fall Meeting on November 2nd, Monica Logan (SI San Diego) was elected to serve the remainder of the biennium as District III Director. Monica has been serving the region as the Program Committee Chair this biennium and has done an excellent job coordinating the work of those committees – and will bring her skills and knowledge to benefit District III and the region in this new position.Read more
In Just Our First Year our on-line community is a great success!! 25,000 people joined our cause. 5,350 actions were taken to end violence against women. $16,000 in donations and sales to support programs that create change to deliver dreams! And Google granted us $10,000/month to optimize our Google ad words. We have close to 5,000 Facebook fans!! Women working together can accomplish more!
